I am following this thread as well as I am experiencing the same issue with Events Calendar Pro and the Aggregator using a Google Calendar Scheduled updater. I am using the Avada theme.

A couple of notes:
1. I get the same duplication when I go in and run a manual import from the google calendar. If I keep hitting “run the import” it will keep duplicating each time.

2. On the imports, some duplicates have no author, and some have “admin” as the author (my author name).
