I just realized how to fix it…
change css
.events-archive #content {width: 100%;}
.events-archive #sidebar {display:none;}

thanks but I’m not sure if this is what I need — or it’s a bit over my head. When I added that to my functions file, I lost the calendar and any of the event template stuff. Only the title and sidebar showed. What I think I’m looking for is a way to have this option that is currently in your settings:

“Events template
Choose a page template to control the appearance of your calendar and event content.”

— to be split into TWO sections, like:
“Events CALENDAR template
Choose a page template to control the appearance of your calendar content.”
“SINGLE EVENT template
Choose a page template to control the appearance of your single event content.”

maybe what you sent would work, but I’m not sure how… I think the option I described above would really be helpful… thx

ok, just went and replaced the “update” with the previous version and at least it is working now… think there are still some bugs.. 🙂
