    I do feel pretty silly.

The issue was related to a setting in WP Hide Plugin Updates and Warnings.

The setting in question can be seen in the attachment. It’s related to global notification suppression.

    Thanks for your help!

I had that installed but downloaded a fresh copy just in case. I’m not noticing any changes.

Eric Murrell with Series Engine has provided a super simple fix for this. Enabling Time.ly Plugin Compatibility in Series Engine settings seems to do the trick.

Thanks for the help, Barry. Not sure I would have discovered this otherwise.

Sure, I certainly understand. I’ve passed along this info to them and asked for some clarification. Hopefully they can provide some and provide a solution or idea. I will bring anything I find back here as soon as I have something so maybe it’ll be helpful to others.

Disabled Series Engine and tried again. This is a test event created after disabling series engine. I set the time to 8pm – 9pm.

And it does appear to be working now..

Hmm, Series Engine is pretty important for us. How do you recommend we proceed?

Using America New York now but (if relevant to know) I did have it set to UTC-4 or UTC-5 originally and it was an hour later than correct time vs what it shows now.

I switched to New York instead after reading another thread about timezone issues.

    Fantastic!

Is there a way to adjust the excerpt query line to query for a custom field added from the Settings screen in TEC?

For example, a custom text area field called “ICS Description”.

    That’s looking promising.

I had to change the if line and remove the space between the ! and the == to get it to parse. Debug mode reported an unexpected ! otherwise.

After changing that and testing it appeared to change the description in the file but they’re all blank. Perhaps that’s because I changed the intended logic by removing the space? Not sure.

That’s perfect. Exactly what I was needing!
