Thank you for the update. I turned off all my plugins including Event Calendar Pro and Advanced Post manager and then ran the import again. Unfortunately it did not resolve the issues. I attempted an all new import and that did not work as well. I even changed my theme to twenty sixteen. Still no dice. I did this on my alternate site roguerocket.ca and comedyinvictoria.com is a busy site.
I suppose that the bug will be resolved soon and I will check for updates often. I will use a workaround (manually adding the images) until then.
