ParticipantHunter, can you confirm that the “New Event Booking” email is associated with your plugins?
As you can imagine, testing for plugin conflicts is kind of tough when the mystery email is triggered by a membership subscription renewal.

ParticipantHunter, attached is a screenshot of our WooCommerce-specific ticket settings. I’m not sure I understand why these would trigger the “mystery” email notification, however. In any event, I’ll let you know if my change to these settings had any effect upon the next membership subscription renewal.

ParticipantGeoff, I will do as you suggested, but it may not be until this weekend or early next week before I’m able to do so.

ParticipantThanks for the follow-up, Geoff. I’m happy to go with you down this rabbit hole. Before we do so, please know that I’ve implemented a work-around that suits my needs for the time being. While I haven’t changed the triggers for my follow-up emails, I changed “Enable for” to “A specific ticket.” I’ll have to manually update the ticket/SKU for each new event, but it seems to work. I had hoped that by enabling for “A specific event category” that I wouldn’t have to keep editing the Follow-up Details for each email in our sequence.
In short, my immediate problem is solved.

ParticipantThanks, Nico. I had the same problem with the Sensei conflict. I just updated to Sensei 1.9.6, and it appears that everything is back in working order. Much appreciated.

ParticipantI appended the code to my function.php file, and my site broke. Because it’s not a major problem, I think I’ll just wait for the bug fix in the next update to the plugin rather than spend time getting the patch to work.

ParticipantSorry for the slow response, Geoff. Thanks for the code patch. I’ll give it a try later today and will confirm whether it works or not. I appreciate your help.

ParticipantWould you, by any chance, be able to tell me what type of WooCommerce order seems to be triggering this ? (simple product, subscription, etc..)
The triggering order was for a subscription product.
My next question would then be is that systematic with that type of product for you ? (does every purchase of that type generate that blank email)
I don’t know. We just created our first subscription products, and we’ve only received the one (test) order at this point.
