The solution on that thread takes the user to the event on that day. Our calendar has multiple events on each do so it needs to go to the day with all events listed, not just a single event.

I’d like to modify the mini calendar widget so when users click on a day it links to a calendar view that shows that day. Right now, it just loads events beneath the calendar widget.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve reviewed that page. The file I’m seeking, /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/single-event.php, is not in this location so I’m curious where it is.

Sorry. This is actually for the mini calendar shortcode. Not the widget which has the ability to limit the events.
