I’m looking to disable XMLRPC access to prevent DDos attacks, but I’\m still researching which plugins this directly effects. What (if any) effects would disabling this feature have on the events calendar, or it’s plugins?

    Hi, Steve.

I searched through our core plugin for any mention of “XML” or “RPC” to see if I could find any usage of XML-RPC, and I didn’t, which is what I expected.

I think you’re safe with all of our plugins.

FYI: I found this, which is super simple: https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-xml-rpc/ (third-party, not guaranteed or supported by us)

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
