Uroš
ParticipantHi, it is me again 🙂
I have a problem with WP Router Placeholder Page showing on all of the pages related to Events Community. Searching in your forum I noticed this is probably the theme related issue, because you solved this problem with a plugin some time back. Also, when I revert to Twenty Fifteen theme the problem don’t exists anymore.
I contact the support of Eventica theme for WP and got this answer:
We don’t think it comes from Eventica also because we do not have any custom functions related to WP_Router.
I’m trying to figure out how to solve this issue but currently don’t know on which side problem exists – Eventica or yours?
Thanks again for answers.

ParticipantHowdy Uroš,
Thanks for reporting the conflict with Eventica! I will reach out to them about it and see if they would be interested in working with us to find a good solution.
That will take time though. In the mean time we might be able to find you a decent fix. Have you tried changing your permalink settings, and flushing your permalinks? If you go to WP-Admin > Events > Settings > Community, could try temporarily changing your “Community rewrite slug” to something unique, like “urostest”? Does that fix things? What about going to WP-Admin > Settings > Permalinks and changing to “default”. Does that work?
Cheers!

ParticipantHi Brook,
I tried both methods, here are the results:
If you go to WP-Admin > Events > Settings > Community, could try temporarily changing your “Community rewrite slug” to something unique, like “urostest”? Does that fix things?
No luck, same problem still exists.
What about going to WP-Admin > Settings > Permalinks and changing to “default”. Does that work?
If I change in COMMON SETTINGS to default, then I get Community Events requires non-default (pretty) permalinks to be enabled or the [tribe_community_events] shortcode to exist on a page notice and 404 page, Not Found.
If I change in PRODUCT PERMALINK BASE to default, then nothing happens – the problem still exists.November 30, 2015 at 8:48 pm #1032938Brook

Ahh yes Uros. That makes sense. You can of course follow those instructions to insert community events into a page, but that’s probabyl a bit of a pain to do for a diagnostic test.
At this point we are reaching out to Eventica to see if they want to work with us and fix things. Sometimes WP Dev shops can take a while to respond. Not sure why that is, but I have come to expect it. So it might be a little while before we hear back and have news, good or bad, to share. I can not think of any workarounds in the mean time, but I will keep you posted.
Cheers!
