WooCommerce Reports

Hi again,

I’m trying to answer my client’s questions about reports for ticket sales in WooCommerce reports. We’ve got our events setup so that each performance of a certain play is in a category for that play.

What I had hoped to find was that going to WooCommerce > Reports > Sales by Category that I’d be able to see ticket sales by category, but this section of the reports page returns no data at all.

Is there some way to connect the Event Categories to the WooCommerce Categories that I’m missing?

Thanks for reaching out!

It should be possible to pass on the category of the event to the ticket created in WooCommerce, also as a category, with some custom development. Customizations are not really in the scope of our support, but I can point you in the right direction.

You should take a look at the wootickets_after_save_ticket action of Event Tickets Plus and the wp_set_object_terms function of WordPress.
