widget date display

first, sorry i’m becoming a frequent flyer here… :/
what i’m trying to do is to add a return after the date on the events widget so that the time shows on the next line.

is this possible?

Hi there, LeAnne! Welcome back–that’s what we’re here for, so ask away. 🙂

It’s possible to drop the time below the date if you head over to Events > Settings > Display then change the “Date time separator” to a <br> tag (screenshot). Just a heads up though that this will apply across the rest of the calendar as well.

The alternative would be to override the widget template and use the following functions to output the variables you want in the right places:

• tribe_get_start_time()
• tribe_get_start_date()
• tribe_get_end_time()
• tribe_get_end_date()

Check out our Themer’s Guide for more info on how to create a template override–it’s a great place to start for customizations. 🙂
