ParticipantHello,
I’m still in the process of integrating and customizing TEC Pro + Filter Bar but there’s something weird happening with the Filter Bar form and the Location input while I was doing some tests.
No matter what city I type in, it works great and shows on the map the existing upcoming events nearby. Here’s a screenshot with a search on “Liège” to show how usually the results appear.

The problem comes with only one precise search : “Charleroi”. When I submit the form to search events in that city, the page reloads and the Filter Bar shows options below the location textbox. As long as I don’t pick one of these options, the map and the list don’t show any event. Here’s a screenshot of what’s happening.

I do have an upcoming event in that city and I also checked the information on the venue location to make sure everything was normal. Everything seems to be ok. I even created new events in that city with other organizers and addresses but still same problem occuring with that particular city.
Any clue ?

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having. I can try to help out here.
The location search relies on Google for the results and sometimes Google for whatever reason does not return the right information.
It is something we are looking to improve in a future release.
For now do you have a link to your site you can provide in a private reply and I can take a look?
Let me know.
Thanks

MemberHi,
I looked at your site and it found events when I clicked Charleroi, Belgium as a suggestion under the field.
It found one event: “Les Soirées Meetic”
It does did find any events when just adding Charleroi.
That is how the script is suppose to work as sometimes the Google API needs some more location information to return results. Although we are working on improving the location search as the Google API is inconsistent on some cities and this might be one of them unfortunately.
One way to maybe help get all the events is to increase the distance found in the event settings under the General tab within the Events Settings (https://cloudup.com/cv7OAEMZRmT).
Thanks
