ParticipantWe’re having a problem with the monthly view on our calendar. On any given day that has more then three events we get the link “View all 4” which is fine, BUT when any of the links are clicked we get the 404 page. This also happens if the number of the date is clicked. Can you help us resolve this problem?
Also, is there a way of changing the default 4 to a higher number? Or make it show ALL the events for a certain date?

MemberLooks like it affects dates with less than 4 events, too. Before we do anything else can I ask you to login, visit Settings > Permalinks (no need to actually adjust or save anything, though – just visiting this page causes a flush of permalinks) then try visiting those links again?

ParticipantBarry, thanks for helping with this. I have done as you asked and there was no change. I then tried setting the permalinks to “default” and that didn’t help either. I put it back to the way it was and we’re still having the same issue. Any other thoughts? If I could set the event count to higher than three that would be ideal, since we normally don’t have more than 4 events on a particular day. Is there a way to always display ALL events, that would solve our problem if we could get rid of the “View all 4” link altogether.

ParticipantBarry, we just installed the new update for the plugins and see that there’s a new option to set the “Month view events per day”, this is exactly what we needed! Thanks for setting that up. There is still one minor issue, clicking on the date number in the monthly view is still giving us the 404 page. If you can give me any more ideas on how to resolve that then we’ll be all set.

MemberRight, so something would seem to be conflicting somewhere along the line. Can you try:
* Ensuring your Modern Tribe plugins are up-to-date and in-synch. If for instance you are using The Events Calendar 3.x you should also use Events Calendar PRO 3.x.
* Deactivate all non-Modern Tribe plugins
* Switch to a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Twelve
* Does the problem persist or has it gone?
* If it has gone, please reactivate each plugin and then your theme, one-at-a-time
* Everytime you reactivate something, please test to see if the problem has returnedThis should help to isolate any conflicting code – we can then hopefully zero in on a solution.
(Remember to take precautions! Backup before you begin and ensure you know how to restore the backup!)
Thanks!

ParticipantI’m having the same issue. I raised the number of events visible in the month view, which helped, but when clicking on the date number, I get a 404 page.
Could this issue be related to hosting WordPress in a sub-folder, similar to the issue last week with week view?

MemberHi adventuresneo, that’s possible. Can you share a URL so I can look at your specific installation (if you wish to do so privately please create a new thread first of all)? Thanks!
