version 3.5 Featured image

Was there a changed to the default event template in 3.5?
I noticed the featured image appears in the event post now.

Howdy tomcoady,

Good question. We definitely made some changes to most all of our templates, including the default events one. This release marks our first fully responsive template in all views. It was a bit of a behemoth to undertake, but it is working awesome on mobile now. If you had an override from a previous version and it is misbehaving now, it might be easiest to get a fresh copy of the file you want to override and redo any modifications in that file as a new override.

Are you referring to the default tri.be event template? If so should I use the 3.4 version?

Our default “Tribe Events Template” was definitely updated in the latest release. It would be best if you used the new 3.5 version as your base, and made changes to it instead of 3.4. That would be the easiest way to make sure that your changes work well in 3.5 (without conflicts), and take advantage of our new responsive views. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
