Venue not shown – again

I am sick of changes in the code destroying information, honestly.

Again after the recent update to 4.3.0.1/4.3 the venue name is not displayed anymore.

Last time im march I was able to adapt to the changes in [theme-name]/tribe-events/list/single-event.php, this time I am not.

Other than giving up my own layout in customized template files for the customer, how can I get the venue names now? Why can’t you keep variable names longer than 6 month? Why don’t you provide a documentation of such big PHP changes, which affect customized templates?

Sorry your expectations aren’t being met in this area. I’ll pass this feedback up to management.

We do try to keep users informed. We publish Release Notes on our blog in addition to the CHANGELOG included in each plugin. Additionally, The Events Calendar‘s code is available on GitHub at https://github.com/moderntribe/the-events-calendar/.

Of course, we’ve got support here for you if something like this comes up too.
