Venue name changes to event title

When adding an event I keep having an issue where the venue name is swapped for the event title, any idea what would cause this?

Hi Dale-Anthony,

Is this on the front end of back end? Have you tried deactivating all other plugins or switching the theme to rule out a conflict there?

Thanks for the reply, this happens on both the front and back end.

It seems once the event it published the venue name in the drop-down menu gets replaced with the event title. Anywhere the venue name is supposed to be displayed on the front end is also replaced with the event title.

I’ve tried disabling all other plugins and switching back to the default WordPress theme but the issue persists.

Very strange. Are you running the latest versions of both the core plugin and Pro? 2.0.11? Do you know what type of server you are on? Would you mind posting a private reply here, providing me access to your site so I can try to see what’s going on for myself? Can I deactivate plugins and switch the theme to play around with things?

I just downloaded and installed the Roots theme and tried to recreate the issue and was not able to. Can you please provide me the exact steps necessary to reproduce this?

Hi Dale-Anthony,

I’m still not able to reproduce this. What version of Roots are you running on? I tried it with 6.4.0 – setting things up in a staging environment would be helpful.
