ParticipantI know this sounds strange and I’ve never seen anything like it – but after upgrading to 3.5 the page titles of a site I am working on dissappeared…. I updated a few plugins at the same time, so I went back and one by one deactivated them, the page title only appeared back when I deactivated The Events Calendar! I have not reverted to a 2011 WordPress theme because I need to use this theme it’s a StudioPress Pro theme, current, and I have it set up on a test site to be moved over asap to the actual gbrss.org site

MemberHi – let me say first of all that I’m sorry you’re experiencing difficulties.
We’ve had a few similar sounding reports so we’re interested in jumping on top of this – but right now (and after reviewing your site via the URL you shared) I don’t have quite a full enough picture of the problem: can you point me to a page/post/event where the title is missing?
Thanks!

ParticipantThought I would jump in here, I have the exact same issue, URL for example here – http://www.welshotimaging.co.uk/event/evening-photography-chester/

ParticipantThe URL of an example is — http://bejeweledbandanas.com/about-us/ or any page on this site… This site is using one of the StudioPress HTML 5 child themes called Going Green Pro…. I also see that it is a problem on another site I have, but had to deactivate The Events Calendar because that site is live

ParticipantLooks like new CSS in updated version of the event plugin in file: tribe-events-full.min.css is interfering with proper display of elements
header.entry-header, footer.entry-meta { display: none }

ParticipantI have observed this problems as well on a Genesis site: http://margaretfelice.com/blog. Same CSS interfering with proper display of elements.

MemberApologies for any inconvenience this has caused – we are aware of it and will fix it as soon as we can. In the meantime an approach like Cloud Genius outlined or this alternative will hopefully tide you over until that point.
Sorry once again.

ParticipantHelp, again, Is this issue resolved/fixed int the hotfixes I see have been released? It’s all Genesis sites…. and I have a few…. and I see there is a link to an alternative for now, which I’m sure I can read about and figure out and implement, but I really think the specific style sheet coding should be offered here,rather than leaving it up to pro customers to put together.

MemberThe hotfixes should have addressed this (if it was indeed the same issue Cloud Genius described) – so if you’re running 3.5.1 for the core and PRO plugins everything should be in order.
Can you confirm if you are all good here or else if you have updated but are still facing the same problem?

ParticipantHi, I can confirm that I am still having issues with this on Genesis Framework with the Metro Theme. I’m not sure if it’s exactly the same issue as previous, for me, the header titles are getting removed on blog archive pages when going to pages beyond the first page of posts, i.e. if I have 3 posts and set blog settings to show one per page, when I go to the 2nd and third post pages the titles are missing (the same would be true if set to 2 per page, titles for first two show up on first page but no title on second page with the 3rd blog post).

MemberHi! It’s been a while so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread. If we can help with anything else, though, please don’t hesitate to create new threads as needed. Thanks!
