Upgrade option not appearing

    I renewed Events Calendar PRO this morning but the newest update is not appearing on my WordPress dashboard. Since I did update the Events Calendar now the plugin and the add-on are not the same versions so I’ve had to deactivate Events Calendar PRO in order to keep my calendar up. Is there a way to manually upgrade or to have the update option appear again. I’ve already tried “checking for updates” and the plugin is appearing as renewed in my dashboard.

    We are sorry to hear about the update not appearing for you.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    On some installations using specific versions, the updates do not appear when:

    1. The license key is not entered under Events -> Settings -> Licence Keys
    2. You look under the Plugins page. On these versions, they appear under the [your site’s URL]/wp-admin/update-core.php

    If that does not work, you can safely delete the Events Calendar Pro.

    Once that is done, walk over to the Downloads page: https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/ and grab the latest version of the Events Calendar Pro

    You can now install the .zip file via the Add Plugin interface.

    Thank you so much, Geoff.

    In trying these solutions, I realized that I just needed to simply “save”
    on the registration page. My key was appearing there but it needed a fresh
    save. Once I pressed save, the calendar worked again.
