"Upcoming Events" added to title tag

Noticed today that “Upcoming Events” is being added to all single page titles. This is a new thing.

I have been using Community Events w/Events Calendar in conjunction with ‘All In One SEO Pack’ since 2013 without any issues and the title for single events always displayed as entered into ‘All In One SEO’.

Not sure if All In One SEO is being overridden – though this is my suspicion. Google cache shows titles as they should be for anything cached before last week. Only update I have done since is to All in One. With over a million users I’m surprised nobody else is seeing this.

Using latest versions of The Events Calendar and Community Events with latest WP.

I have tried the default theme as well – still the same.

I’m sorry to hear you’ve hit up against this – we’re actually aware of it and a bug report has already been filed, so hopefully a substantive fix will arrive in the near future 🙂

In the meantime, could you try adding the following snippet to a suitable location (your theme’s functions.php file should work):
