unique event pages per listing

Hello, I tried searching and found a few different products and posts but just so I didn’t end up purchasing the wrong thing I wanted to get some clarification.

I run http://www.carolina.beer a site that is a searchable database using the listify theme for breweries bars etc… I would really love to incorporate an event calendar and leaning towards the facebook event product to just import what the businesses already have. Question is, can I have a unique calendar with the facebook events per listing.

So each listing on the site will have the facebook events from their page on each listing on carolina.beer?

Or is it just one large calendar with it all in as one and no way to assign it on a per page basis?

Thanks for reaching out, sounds like a cool project and I appreciate that you’re even considering our software for it. It’s with that in mind that I hate to bear the bad news about your essential question here:

Unfortunately your second example there is basically how our plugins work at this time 🙁 Getting each listing to pull in FB events specific to it is possible, in theory, but it is not something our plugins currently do and it would not be possible without some extensive custom development.

Otherwise there’s not much else our plugins do to achieve this exact functionality. I’m sorry to bear that news, but I hope at least that this is a clear answer and helps you move forward with your project. Let me know if this is the case and/or if you have anything else we can help with!

Hi Sam

I’m also doing something similar. It is achievable with some workaround.

Option 1:
1. You can set business pages in FB import plugin of TEC and import all the events automatically.
2. You can create your listings as event categories and extend event category taxonomy to listing post type(I think, its job type).
3. in event calendar, you can create a calendar for event category. And same category is linked with your Listing. So you’ll be able to put this calendar as a widget with some custom code, its not going to be a major development.

Option 2:
Use post 2 post or post connector plugin to attach the events with listings. Use some custom code to list them after the listing.
