Tribe Alert functionality

Today there is an alert on the Tribe website, as per this screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/jCcMwlwTv
I have a client whose events are weather dependent. They would like alert functionality exactly like this, visible on every page, made active and inactive by the website wordpress administrator. Is this alert part of the events calendar plugin(s)?

That Alert is part of our website coding and not part of our plugins unfortunately nor is it in a form that I could give the coding out.

Thanks Brian, I understand. Might be a neat feature to add though. I find that almost all my clients who have events need an alert when an event is somehow cancelled under emergency. Currently it has do be done independently, but would be great if it was programmatically connected to an event in the events database.

I agree that could be a good feature.
