We’re looking for folks to do the first translations of our newest product, Easy Digital Downloads (EDD) Tickets. In exchange, we’ll give you a free license for the plugin of your choice.

Interested? Awesome! Just follow the steps below.

    1. Post a thread in the forum telling us what language you’re translating the plugin into.
    2. Download the plugin’s /lang/ folder from EDD Tickets.
    3. Download the PoEdit translation program.
    4. Start translating! If you haven’t done a translation before, you’ll want to familiarize yourself with PoEdit. You might also check out the WordPress Codex page on WordPress translations for tips.
    5. When you’re done with the translation, post a reply to your original forum post and include a link where people can download the .po and .mo files for your translation. You can use an uploading service like Droplr or CloudApp.
    6. As a thank you for your hard work, we will give you a free license for the plugin(s) you translated. To get your free license, you must include a working email address in your forum post.

We will test the files you submit and add them to an upcoming release for the plugin. If you want to be credited for your work in the readme.txt file, be sure to give us your name in the post.
