Translate some words and upload them to the site.

Hi!
Use the Event Calendar free for WP 4.2.2 and i need to change some words present in the site that appear in the English language while should appear in the italian language. I downloaded the file from here. Then I changed the file .po with poedit, then I loaded the two files ( .po and .mo) in the folder of the plugin (public/www/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/lang) but i have not noticed any difference. How do I change the translation of certain words?

Hopefully we can help to get this sorted out for you quickly.

1. When you added the files to the “lang” folder of the plugin did you ensure they had the proper name convention? https://cloudup.com/c9MeQrQuT_P
2. If so, you should have been prompted to replace the existing files. Ensure that the old file were replaced with your newly updated translation.
3. After adding, try deactivating and reactivating the plugin to see if that helps.
