ParticipantHi Guys,
I’m using the Events Calendar Pro and have run into an issue.
When I try to use the search facility or move to the next/previous month it hangs on the spinning circle.I can access individual events and scroll between them no problem.
I’ve followed your instructions with regards to conflicts (deactivated all plug-ins and changed to the twentyfourteen theme).
It’s definitely a theme conflict as the calendar works as expected with twentyfourteen; even with all the plugins activiated. All plugins and theme are up to date, as is WP.
I though there might be multiple version of jquery being loaded; I’ve looked through the network traffic and there aren’t any duplicates.
There’s one error and one warning showing in the console:
Error: 400 failed GET request for a google font
Warning: Google Maps API warning: SensorNotRequiredI don’t expect that these could cause the calendar not to function correctly and there’s no other error messages (frustratingly).
Unfortunately I’m still working on the localhost (MAMP) so don’t have a link to send you.
The theme I’m using is Tesseract http://tyler.com/Is there anything else I should look for that could be causing the conflict?
Look forward to hearing from you.

MemberHowdy Suzie,
Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us. I’ll try to help you here…
I can understand the issue, but I don’t think it’s related with the errors you see in the console. I think the best approach is to contact the theme developers and ask them if they are aware of this incompatibility issue and in case they are, ask if there’s any recommended solution. From the troubleshooting side you can look for the XHR requests (ajax calls) in the browser console (https://cloudup.com/cim-WQqInMW), from what you describe it seem’s ajax calls are failing. You can also test this in a new-icnognito mode window without being logged in to the WP-Admin.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you here,
Best,

Thanks for the quick response.
I’ve actually changed theme now and the calendar is working as expected.
