The event calendar + qtranslation not working fully

Hi,
Can you please tell me how to make the event calendar translate fully
im using qtranslate, and now its only the month names that its translating.
I want it to be in both chinese and english, with the chinese as my first language.

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I’m not familiar with qTranslate however all of the strings within our plugin should be translation ready which can be seen when using a different default language for your WordPress install. Were there any strings that you noticed that were not translation ready?

If only the month is being translated, it sounds like there may need to be some customization with the qTranslate to get it to apply to all text available within our plugin. Unfortunately that would be beyond the scope of what we’re able to provide here in support.

Im not sure what you mean with strings. if its the search, date, etc.
and how can i see if something not are translation ready ?

Hey kamahala,

Thanks for following up. When referring to strings, I’m referring to any text that is output by our plugin onto the screen. So this includes “search”, “date”, etc. but not the title, description or other event specific content added by you for the event.

I would suggest reaching out to qtranslate. Again, I’m not sure how the plugin works but also not sure if there is anything further we could do to make our plugin any more translation ready.
