ParticipantI’m using TEC Pro and am having an issue with a recurring event. I created the event as recurring every week, and everything was working fine for a few weeks. I then added an exception, and things continued working OK for a week or so. Recently, my recurring event has disappeared from the backend, but it is showing in the frontend. An added note – even though the event is visible, when I select “Find out more”, I get 404.
I just updated to 4.2.5 in hopes that the issue was something known and resolved. I was disappointed š
Suggestions on how to proceed from here?

MemberGood evening KenĀ and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about your events disappearing on you. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic.I have a couple of follow-up questions to help us troubleshoot this further:
- Is there a reason for having theĀ Housekeeper plugin installed ? I am asking because this triggered similar issues in the past
- Could you please provide me with a screenshot of yourĀ Events -> Settings -> General settings page ?
Hang in there as we figure this one out.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

ParticipantHey Geoff,
Thanks for the response! As to the Housekeeper … I simply forgot it was there. I’ve disabled it and, if you confirm that it’s no longer needed, I’ll delete it. Here are the requested screenshots.

MemberGood evening Ken,
Thank you for writing back and for the screenshots.
Yes, I think it is better to deactivate that plugin. In fact, I have not seen it in usage in a very long time.
I am even wondering if this might not be the cause of the disappearance. There are 2 other things worth checking out:
- If you have the admin bar displaying while you are in the front-end, can you navigate to that event and click on the “Edit Event” link ? If so, does that bring you to the event in the backend ?
- Can you tell me a bit more about your Post Expirator plugin ?
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
