    Hi,
You can see our event calendar here: http://www.beebomagazine.co.uk/whats-on/

There is an event on Monday 4th November. If you switch to December and then switch back to November, the event is no longer displayed.

Is this a bug with the software?

    Hi, infosws. Great question!

Have you had a chance to go through our troubleshooting steps yet? If not, please take a moment to ensure that you’re on the latest version of our plugins (typically 3.2), and test with one of the WP default themes like Twenty Twelve with all other plugins deactivated.

If the issue still presists, please reply with your System Imformation, located on the Help tab of the Events Calendar Settings page.

    Thanks! 🙂

    Hi,

Thanks for replying. I can confirm that I am on version 3.2 of your plugins (I just upgraded from 3.1), but unfortunately the issue is still occurring. I am unable to change to a default theme and deactivate other plugins as the website is live.

The customer is also reporting other problems with the calendar view. For instance, you can see ‘Santas on the Run’ on December 15th on list view and photo view, but not on the month (calendar) view.

Thanks for the info, infosws. It sounds like this merits further investigation by our dev team. I’ll see what we can track down and get back to you.

Thanks for your patience while we work to figure this out! 🙂

    Hi,

Just wondered whether the dev team have had a chance to look at the issue yet?

    Thanks.

Hi, infosws. I truly apologize for the delay. Our dev that specializes in these issues just now got back to us.

It seems that there’s an issue with your theme that breaks a fundamental part of TEC. Here’s the dev’s comment:

The Events Calendar requires themes to use http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/body_class . If it doesn’t, one symptom will be the month view datepicker not being in month mode, as it decides to go to that mode depending on the grid body class we apply.

Do you think you might be able to pass this along to your theme developer to ask if they might be able to help?

    Hi,

A previous employee of our company actually built the theme. However, I know WordPress and have added the body_class() to the theme, and it seems to have solved the problem.

A million thanks to yourself and to your genius dev for spotting this, the client will be very happy!

    Cheers.
