support for individual users "My Events" feature

Is there functionality to allow users to select from the list of events those that they are interested in thus creating a subset of all events that they have access to in list/calendar form.

a user can export an event to their own Google Calendar, so I guess they could export all the ones they like and store them that way, I wouldn’t know how to do it within your site though.
