Spam User to the Commumity Calendar

We have the Community Calendar on the below site and seem to be getting toms of spam users signing up to use it. They are not making post – but this is silly how can i stop this?

Hi: I’m sorry you’re facing difficulties.

When a user is not logged in (ie, if you accept anonymous submissions) we do add some anti-spam measures – a hidden honeypot – but, sadly, it’s not infallible.

If you’d like to see stronger measures in place then please post a suitable request, beyond that though you’d either need to implement extra anti-spam measures yourself or else limit submissions to authenticated (logged in) users.

Does that help at all or at least explain the current situation?
