Jessica
ParticipantAll of my events are returning this error.
At the same time, from list/calendar view my sidebar widgets get all screwy, turning my recent posts and recent comments into links back to the events calendar.
I’ve deactivated, reinstalled and upgraded to Events Calendar Pro but still having the same problems. Please let me know if you can help!Events listing:

MemberHi Jessica. Are you running 2.0.3 of both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO? And did you re-save your permalinks upon activation? There’s also the possibility that another plugin is conflicting; since I see your site is still in progress, it would definitely be helpful to know whether you still have this issue after deactivating other plugins (and reverting to the default 2011 theme as needed). I can get a dev to chime in from there if no resolution is reached though. Let me know.

ParticipantHi there,
Yes we are running 2.0.3 of both plugins. I don’t think any other plugins could be conflicting as we are just using JetPack, Disqus and Google Analytics. Have you seen The Events Calendar mess up links this way before? I.e. on this page: http://www.seattleglobalist.com/events/ all my sidebar links are going back to events whereas on posts and the homepage the sidebar contains links to comments and posts. I am really not sure what could be going on. I appreciate your help.January 13, 2012 at 6:59 pm #13361Rob
MemberHi Jessica. Weird; this is the first I’ve heard of this issue and you are correct in that it doesn’t seem JetPack, Disqus or GA would be the conflict here. I’ve asked our developer Jonah to chime in on this – so he can comment directly over the next day or so.
One thing I may suggest in the interim would be to play around with different permalink structures and see if that could be an issue. We have heard a few reports of sites having issues when pretty permalinks were not enabled. Any chance that could be at play here?

ParticipantThanks Rob. We have played around a bit with the structure, to no avail. We’ll keep tinkering and look forward to hearing from Jonah.

MemberThanks for confirming, Jessica. We’ll do everything we can to get this figured out for you guys. Apologies for the inconvenience in the interim.

ParticipantHi again. Looks like we figured it out: when I switched to “default events template” instead of “default page template” the bug disappeared. Thanks!

ParticipantGlad you figured it out Jessica, I was just beginning to look into this when I saw your post! Let us know if there’s anything else that comes up.
