    I have a site which is using the single-venue.php template, the offline version works perfectly (following the slight tweak https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/bug-with-venue-upcoming-events/#post-12545), however the version ive pushed live no longer works.

    From what i can see the template files are exactly the same. Heres the code from the template, which is a slight tweak from the original template. http://db.tt/ziAVvav4
    (How do you post code with php in to the forum?)

    Any help is appreciated.

    This is an odd issue – thanks for noting it, Paul. I haven’t heard any other users bring this up yet…I’m going to have our developer Jonah chime in directly to see if he has any thoughts. Note that since support is a bit lighter than normal this week, it may not be immediate…but we should be able to have someone take a look at this by Friday.

    Regarding code…currently no way to show it in the forum, sadly, except using pastie.org or something similar. We’ll have the ability to incorporate code here soon though, so that should become a non-issue. Apologies for the inconvenience in the interim.

    Hi Paul,

    It’s hard to say what’s going on here without taking a closer look. I’m seeing upcoming events on my local site so I don’t see what the problem could be. Can you provide me WP admin and FTP access so I can take a look? Do I have permission to disable plugins, switch themes, turn on debugging, etc.?

    Happy to give you admin access and ftp details, can i have an email address to send them to?
    As this is a live client site id prefer it if you didn’t switch themes, but disabling plugins should be fine. Debugging is currently switched on, but im not seeing anything thats obvious to me.

    Hey Paul: before having Jonah jump into, can you confirm whether the 2.0.3 beta code I sent you yesterday (related to another thread) resolves this as well?

    Hi Paul, sorry for the delay on this but I’ve finally had a chance to take a look at things. I’ll go through the items in the email you tried to send to me:

    On #1, try switching the Events Template in Settings > The Events Calendar to “Default Page Template” which will force the plugin to use your themes native page template instead of the more generic Events Calendar page template. That should resolve the Venue info display.

    On #2 and #3 I’m suspecting there is either a conflict with another plugin or with your theme. What I’d like to do to at least rule this out, is disable all plugins and/or revert the default TwentyEleven theme to see if this resolves the issues. Do you want to try this on your local dev or can I do it on the remote site?

    Thanks for your time.

    Unfortunately changing that setting doesn’t resolve issue #1. I’ve just quickly switched to twenty eleven and still seem to have the same issue.

    By all means make the changes you need, but please revert back once you have made your checks. Is this something you will be doing today?

    We’ve finally tracked down the issue to the MAX_JOIN_SIZE configuration on the database, which appears to have
    been set lower than default.

    Appreciate you taking the time to try and help with this.

    Great to hear you got this figured out, Paul…sorry we couldn’t have been more assistance. Can I assume this means you’re all set? Let me know if I’m wrong and there’s still something you need.
