Single Event With Multiple Dates

Hi,
I want to add an event that has the same event description, but which has multiple dates with no pattern of recurrence.
For instance here is the event pattern:

Upcoming Dates for the Evaluation Workshops

Thursday, February 25, 2016 – Lounge
4:00 – 8:00

Tuesday, March 1, 2016 – Conference Rooms A & B
4:00 – 8:00

Thursday, March 3, 2016 – Conference Rooms A & B
4:00 – 8:00

Saturday, March 5, 2016 – Lounge
8:30 – 12:30

Thursday, March 10, 2016 – Conference Rooms A & B
4:00 – 8:00

What is the best way to set this up so that I can continue to add future dates?

That’s a great question. There are currently plans to add random single dates to recurring events as a feature.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned!

In the meantime, it sounds like you have 2 options:

1. Create a recurring event that repeats every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with an end date (that you can change if you need to add future dates).
   a) You can then create exclusion rules to remove the unwanted dates (as explained here)
   b) Alternatively, you could delete the unwanted child events
2. Create simple events (not recurring) that are all part of the same category.

I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
