rest api limitations?

Hi, we’re building a mobile app which will interface with the events calendar. We’re planning on using the REST API but just want to make sure of what functionality will be available outside of the WordPress website.

Using the REST API, will we still be able to:

1) Create tickets
2)With creating events will there be any limitations

Basically we would just like to know do we have full functionality outside the wordpress site? If not what might be missing?

Hi Graeme

At this time, we have a limited Rest API integration, allowing just for The Events Calendar integration, not Events Calendar Pro or Event Tickets. You can read more about the extent of our integration at https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/introduction-events-calendar-rest-api/.

You can find the ones we support directly via wp-json/tribe/events/v1/doc (which you can in turn plug into http://petstore.swagger.io/).

In the meantime, you could create your own custom endpoints for the Calendar with this great information here http://v2.wp-api.org/extending/adding/
