Renaming additional field "Links" content

Hello everyone,

we are using The Events Calendar for our communal Theaters Website. Our Artists usually sell their tickets online.

To support this, we add a link to the event that leads to the ticket shop.

While it works, the links text shows the ugly URL. Is there a way to change this to something nice? Even a simple “Buy ticket online” would be sufficient.

Hi Sebastian,

Thanks for reaching out! Are you using the additional fields feature to add this link? If so, try doing a template override of the additional-fields.php file found at wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/modules/meta. For your copy, use this template. You’ll need to replace “your url field” on line 21 with the name of your field. You can replace the “Buy tickets” text on line 23 if you would like to label the link something else.
