Remove Category from Displaying in Event Listing

Hi there …. I only have one category for events and really don’t want the category to be displayed in the event listings. How would I go about removing it?

So you just need to remove the display of categories on single events correct?

Yep, that’s right …

Ok, that’s easy. Just make a copy of /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/views/single.php and place in an ‘events’ folder in your theme. Then, find line 34 that has this code:

tribe_meta_event_cats();

…and remove that (including the opening and closing PHP tags.

That should do it but let me know if you need anything else with this.
