Related events and maps info

Hey team. Two questions for you…

1) I’ve looked around your sites/docs, but I haven’t been able to find much info on related events. Could you tell me how certain events are related to one another? I’d like to be able to make sure appropriate ones are relating to each other.

2) Is the location based search not able to search by state? The first upcoming event I have listed is in Abilene, TX. If I search TX or Texas for location, nothing comes up. Abilene does, though.

Sorry for piggybacking but I would also like to know how events are related to each other. Is it strictly based on similar category or is it based on similar title? I don’t see any UI options in the event editor to specify that an event should be related to another. Thanks!

I do believe that the events are related based on their category. And the ability to search by state isn’t something the plugin can currently do. The good news though is that it is something currently under review, so we’re looking into making that a reality.
