related events

Hi,

at the bottom of a single.php view of an event we can see the ‘related events’. However, the method by which the related events are chosen is often not really relevant to the event the user is viewing.

We use unique categories for every event and I would like these related events to be controlled by the category ID.

Can you advise on the best way to achieve this please? I would prefer to add to the functions.php file if possible.
