ParticipantHey Sean,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Unfortunately it appears that you’re currently running into a couple of different bugs that we have logged and will be addressing in one of our upcoming releases. I’ve added this ticket to our internal thread for tracking these issues. You’ll be notified here as we make progress on this one.
I apologize for the inconvenience, let me know if you have any further questions.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Everyone,
I apologize for the inconvenience of this issue.
The ticket has been set to be addressed in our next release however I can’t give a set date for that fix. In the meantime, you can revert to the previous version of the plugin which should be a temporary solution for this issue until the update is released.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Josh
Any instructions on how to revert to the previous version?
Thanks

ParticipantHey Sean,
Sure thing!
The quickest way would be to access your site files via FTP and delete the current Events Pro plugin from your sites “plugins” folder. You can then download the previous version of the plugin from your downloads page.
I believe this issue cropped up with the 3.11.1, however if you would like you can revert back to 3.10 for both Pro and the Core plugin. You can get the 3.10 version of the core plugin here.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!core plugin here

MemberHi there,
I wanted to report back to you on the status of this issue. Your report is tracked in our internal system and a fix is on our to-do list, but we were not able to fit it into our upcoming 3.12 release. Please know that the issue is still very much on our radar and we will be working on it for a future release. We appreciate your patience while we work to improve our plugins. Thank you for using The Events Calendar!
Best,
Leah

ParticipantHi
Further to your advice….
“I believe this issue cropped up with the 3.11.1, ”I’ve reverted pro to 3.11.0 and recurring events still not working. I can’t believe that you don’t seem know which version works!!
then a further comment from your team….
“Your report is tracked in our internal system and a fix is on our to-do list, but we were not able to fit it into our upcoming 3.12 release. ”Surely recurring events is a major part of your software!!
Your other suggestion to revert core back to 3.10…
Can you tell me if all events will be lost if I delete 3.11 core to reinstall 3.10?
Thanks

ParticipantHey Sean,
I apologize for the confusion here. I should have dug a little deeper into your site upon initial request rather than assuming it was the same, rare issue that we do have recorded. That issue isn’t a general use bug and the majority of users would never experience the issues you’ve described when using the plugin.
That issue is important to us and we will be addressing it in our next release. It was originally reported a little too late in our release cycle for it to make it into our current release that should be coming out this week.
Looking into your site a little further, it appears you’re recurring events “all” pages seem to work here. There a couple of small bug fixes coming in 3.12 related to that page in regards to occasionally the first instance of an event being left off of that archive. However, since this page is showing, as well as the events showing on the calendar it appear that you are experiencing a different issue than what I originally suspected.
Can you give me a little more detail about these recurring events. Was this one created before the upgrade and only newly created events are experiencing the issue you’re describing? If so, would you mind sending me a screenshot of the “Recurrence” settings that you’re using when creating the event?
Thanks!

ParticipantI too have reverted back to 3.10 and still cannot add reoccurring events. Please advise what version will work.

ParticipantHey Boyceyuk,
It sounds like you’re also experience an issue different from the known bug that we do have logged. Would you mind opening a new thread so we can address each users situation and configuration directly?
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Josh
Yes the event you linked to was created before the problem arose.
This recently created event is supposed to be repeating but only first is showing http://www.myc.ie/event/possible-fun-sail-in-broadmeadows/2015-09-01/
Screenshot here for this event http://prntscr.com/8dk78tI also did another test or two all of which only show first event.
