I’m really sorry for the delay here. Someone will take a look at this as soon as possible. I really appreciate that you’ve tried to use the existing snipper and that you attached the screenshots for us. To get us started, can you tell us what version of WordPress you’re using, as well as the versions for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO? And finally, have you tested at all for a theme or plugin conflict, just in case?

I’m struggling to replicate the same thing locally – so though I do appreciate that you’ve already taken the time to test this out without any other plugins and using only a default, unmodified theme can I just double check what the result of those tests were?

Unless you already tried this, could you also run through those steps again and try creating a new recurring event at the same time and see if it works under those same circumstances, when nothing else is active?

No problem – and thanks for running through those steps – assuming it all works in a ‘plain vanilla’ installation then adding each of the components that exist on your live site (and also building up the settings to mimic the ones in real use) would be a good way to go to discover the conflict, if indeed it is a conflict that’s causing this.

Finally got the chance to test on a local MAMP. The recurring events work for Canvas theme (WooThemes) and 2012 theme. However, the title is missing for 2013 theme (maybe related to this: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/event-titles-not-appearing-after-update/). Thank you.

So the issue that you initially reported (where you made an event recur each day for 3/4 days, but it did not show in week view etc) is not something I can replicate, even if I use Twenty Thirteen.

Based on your last reply, where you mention the title missing in the Twenty Thirteen theme, I’m a little unclear as to whether we still have the original problem or if we’re now discussing something else:

A) If that initial issue is indeed still a problem (when you test without other plugins and only a default theme in place) can you confirm so. If it is not, were you able to isolate the cause of the problem?

B) If we’re now discussing a quite different problem – although the thread you referenced would seem to have been a problem specific to that user rather than a general problem – can you please create a new thread, and describe where the title is missing exactly (I could easily be missing this, but it seemed to be present everywhere I looked).
