ParticipantI’ve read through the forum RE other posts I could find about this issue and do not see a fix other than to wait for the next update. As of right now, exclusions for recurring events are still not working for us. Checked all updates, etc. to make sure we are running the most current versions. This is the main reason we recently upgraded & PAID for the pro version – and it hasn’t worked once since we did.
Holidays are just around the corner & our calendars need to reflect business closures, schedule changes, etc. Waiting for the next patch update or whatever is not acceptable any longer.

MemberHi Jennifer,
First off, my apologies for the issue! The situation you’re describing where recurring exclusions are missing is indeed a bug and I’m sorry for the trouble with it so far. Recurring events is a key feature in Events Calendar PRO and we understand the need to get the exclusions portion of it back in running order.
That said, we are in the process of working on it. I hope a fix is coming soon but unfortunately do not have a specific timeline for it. For the time being, the only workaround is to create a recurring event, then manually delete the instances you would like to be excluded.
I have added this thread to the ticket in our system and will be sure to follow-up with you here when I know more. In the meantime, I will mark this thread as Pending Fix.
Thanks for your patience while we work on this!

ParticipantI saw there was a fix for this, but I am still experience issues myself after just updating to the latest version. Can you provide an update?

MemberHey there, @gohwebmaster!
It looks like this one is slated for our next release. We just released 4.0 and will likely have 4.0.1 before the end of the month. I’ll certainly update this thread when I have more to share.
Thanks!

MemberHey folks,
The ticket for this issue was completed and released in Events Calendar PRO 4.0.3. Please update if you haven’t already and let us know if any other questions come up.
I’m going to close this thread, but please don’t hesitate to open a new one if you continue to have trouble with recurring event exclusions. And, if that’s the case, please reference this thread and provide us with updated system information and we’d be happy to check it out.
Cheers!
