ParticipantI think we’ve found a bug with recurring events… particularly weekly events that span across several months. We’re running EC 2.0.2 with PRO 2.0.2 on WP multisite 3.2. No plugins aside from the calendar and Gravity Forms are enabled (but we’re not using Gravity Forms to submit the event).
My settings on the buggy event are as follows:
Start date/time: 1/13/2012 @ 10 a.m.
End date: 1/13/2012 @ 5 p.m.
Recurrence: Custom, end on 3/31/2012
Frequency: Weekly every 1 week on MWTRFThis works fine for the first month (January) but in February and March, the event starts occurring twice on weekdays and also on weekends until the end date. One of the events listed is always for January 31. You can see what I mean here:
http://calendar-dev.umaine.edu/events/2012-02I also noticed that the month drop-down menu at the top of the calendar doesn’t display the current month but the previous one. Is that intentional? Seems confusing.
Let me know if you need further info to diagnose the problem! Many thanks!

MemberHey Caroline. Thanks for the note; sorry to hear you’re having problems. This is a weird issue since I’m actually unable to recreate it on my default 2011 install with the 2.0.2 code active. I’m wondering if the multi-site install is problematic here….or, your theme. Any chance you could try reverting back to the default 2011 theme to test whether the issue persists? Can you also confirm that you have pretty permalinks turned on (ie /%postname%/)?
Regarding the “last month” showing in the dropdown, where this month should appear…that’s a bug and one we’ve got logged for either our 2.0.3 or 2.1 release. Which one it goes into will depend on how quickly we can identify the fix.

ParticipantThanks so much! Although after some sleuthing this morning I figured it out. I completely forgot about our Network Active plugins, and a custom plugin our former programmer wrote was causing the problem. D’oh. 🙂

MemberAh, excellent to hear you got this resolved. Sounds like we’re all set here, right? Let me know if not and I can continue to troubleshoot as needed. Otherwise let us know if we can do anything else!
