Recurring Event preserve the day? — Every 3rd Saturday etc

Not seeing this in the forum.. my client has 95% of their events are on specific days – so to say “recurs every month” — it’s not that it happens on the 3rd of every month, the event happens first Monday or Last Saturday kind of thing.

Is there in 2.0.11 or in upcoming 3.0 the ability to set the recurrence to preserve the day of week an event happens on?

Yes, if I’m understanding you correctly then in 2.0.11 you can do something like this:

* Recurrence: custom
* Ends on: whenever
* Frequency: monthly
* Every: 1 month
* On the: Second Tuesday

Does that help at all?
