    I was wondering if you have any idea why i would not be able to create a recurrence for an event? Since the last update i have been unable create any new recurring events

    Is it possible to have to have to many events with the same title?
    How about a lack of categories?
    any ideas would help

    I just tried to create my first recurring event since the last software update and I have the same problem.
    Although it saves the dates of the event it does not show anything on the screen calendar online. Just shows the first event but no recurring ones.

    What theme are you using? I am using a Church and eEvents by VAMTAM.

    Are you both having an issue where you can set a new event as recurring but only the first date of the event gets published to the calendar/database? Because I brought it up in January/February and was told no one else was having this problem. https://tri.be/support/forums/topic/recurring-events-only-publishing-the-first-day-reposts/

    I am using the latest WordPress and Event Pro versions. My theme is Enfold.

    : can you confirm if you’ve had an opportunity to run through our standard troubleshooting steps? Just to summarize, those are as follows:

    • Ensure your Modern Tribe plugins are up-to-date (sounds like they are!)
    • Deactivate all other plugins and leave only The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO activated
    • Switch to a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Fourteen or Twenty Thirteen
    • Does the same problem still occur?

    Yes, yes and yes, but it looks like i found my issue!
    IN the Event settings I had the “Create recurring events in advance for” only 2 months. so when i was trying to create an event any further in the future it would not work. So i changed it to 24 months and all is well!!!!!

    Barrywales I hope your issue is as easy to fix as mine!

    Thanks. Mine was set to 12 and did not work.
    Changed it to 24 and it now works. Thanks for the for the solution.
