Quantity Arrow missing on Chrome

Hi!

Since new Woocommerce update the quantity arrow are missing on Chrome, despite they are working on Firefox ( OSX )

Hey there, Leymarie! Thanks for getting in touch.

Yeah, we noticed the same thing this morning when we updated to the latest version of WooCommerce ourselves this morning.

Our WooTickets plugin inherits the styling used by WooCommerce. In other words, we don’t force any specific style but rather inherit the styles implemented by WooCommerce. We tested this on other non-ticket products and the issue applies there as well. That means it’s related to change with WooCommerce rather than the WooTickets plugin.

You can try to style the controls yourself using CSS, but your best bet is to let the WooCommerce team know about the change and request that the styling be added back in.

Sorry I don’t have a concrete solution for you here, but I hope this helps shed light on the issue.

Hi!

I totally understand and I’ve discovered that’s as you say a problem inside woocommerce. I’ve removed my own style and now I’ve the browser native arrow from the input number type. Not so fancy than our own style but at least it’s working in a UX point of view.

Hope they’ll solve this issue 🙁

Nice work! I’m glad that helps, but hope that a more permanent patch comes. For the record, it’s nothing that WooCommerce is doing wrong since that is how Chrome handles numeric inputs by default–however, something did change between 2.3.1 and 2.3.2 that caused the difference, so that’s where things are at.
