ParticipantAfter upgrade I got 404 message on trying to view listings page. I had events published but they were past current dates, so I edited them to new up-coming dates, but they would nt show on widget calendar or any other views. I then added a new events and this is now showing in the calendar widget ok, but when I click the date on the calendar it does not open the event.

ParticipantHi..all sorted now with the calendar..I was forgetting that you cannot click through on the widget itself, which makes sense…
However, with regard to my old events published,, If I edit the dates of the old events to a new date, why dont they show up in the calendar or the list view?

ParticipantFYI…the events I changed the dates on are all marked “scheduled”. When I chnage to “Publish” and update. It reverts them back to “scheduled”????

MemberHi John,
Interesting! I haven’t seen this sort of issue come up before. Let’s see if we can figure out why the post status would change from Published to Scheduled when saving it.
First off, does this happen when you switch to a default WordPress theme, like Twenty Fifteen? How about when you do that and deactivate all other plugins, except for The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar PRO at the same time? I just want to rule out any conflicts there and see if the issue is still happening in default WordPress conditions.
If the issue is still happening in default conditions, then what is the date of your post (not the date of the event itself)?
Let’s start there and see what we find.
Cheers!

ParticipantHi..I deactivated all plugins and changed theme to 2012. The problem still remains. The post date says “last edited by John Paul July 13,2015”. These were events I created a long time ago , then the client cancelled the project. They have since restarted it and so I logged back into the original environment I had created, updated your plugin and then went to these old events to give them new dates for viewing and testing purposes.

MemberThanks for following up, John!
Will you please send me a link to one of the events where I can see that message in the post? Seeing that message would be super helpful.
Cheers!

MemberHi John,
Sorry, I must have misunderstood your question and assumed the message you’re seeing is on the front end of the site and was asking for a link I could see it there. We’re unfortunately unable to log into your site, though I appreciate you sending that information–I’ve removed it in the meantime.
Are you able to possibly share a screenshot with me instead? That would certainly help.
Thanks and sorry again for the mixup!
Geoff
