ParticipantHi and thank you for a great plugin. But.. I do have some issues.
As you can see on my site http://www.whatnow.no there are some events that have different start and end dates. Lots of events lasts for several days, thats ok. But it really look kinda akward that the first dates showing in the calendar are few days back in time. Any Idea on how to put the settings or suggestions for workarounds to make these events show todays date in the calendar date in up right corner of the single event in photo view. Quick feedback will be much appreceated as we are officially about to launch the site in nearby future.November 3, 2014 at 5:43 am #857806Brian
MemberHi,
Thanks for using the Events Calendar Pro. Sorry for the delay in getting to you, we try to get to all tickets within 24 hours Monday through Friday.
The way the Event Views work are to get Events by their Start Date and as you see if you have an event that lasts a while it will show first as it may have the earliest start date.
There is not easy way around that as the whole system is built that way so I do not have a snippet to change that or anything else for you.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions and I can get back to you with as much help as I can provide.
Thanks

ParticipantI have EXACTLY the same request, and it’s very frustating cause it looks like the calendar pro is great plugin but miss of flexibility to manage some specific events that stays many days / week / months.
I meet the problem with art exhibition, would like to show opening of the day on a page (homepage for example), but event displays are some started few weeks ago… 🙁

Membersuperbigcat,
Thanks for posting here and the features both you and storeulven do make sense and I can see how that would be valuable. However, most many of our users the current behavior make sense.
One option maybe to turn these multiday events in daily recurring events, that way it would always show today in the list view as the past days of the recurring event would not show.
Also, please head to our UserVoice Page and add your own or upvote that feature as they will increase the chances of it being added to a future version.
