Is there a way to get the Events Calendar to display on a different page the exact same way as it does on the default “/events” page? The shortcodes work, but are ugly on my theme.

Failing that, if I were to change my current “workshops” page to the new TEC “events” page, is there a way I can add content to it – see http://www.laugh-masters.com.au/workshops to see what I mean… I can’t find a page in my pages admin section with the slug “events” so am confused.

    Hey @laughmasters,

Good question! The only shortcodes we have at the moment are the ones for widgets, so I’m afraid there is no way to embed the full calendar view on another page right out of the box. However, there is the Event Rocket plugin, which does have the ability to embed the List View, I believe, and would certainly be worth checking out.

Yes, you can absolutely add content to the calendar page. Head over to Events > Settings > Display and scroll to down to the Advanced Template Settings section. There’s a spot where you can add your own HTML to the template either above or below the calendar.

Does this help and will it work for you? Please let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can!
