ParticipantWhen I click the Previous link from the current list view, it jumps back to mid-February. Clicking the Next link from that page jumps back to the current view. I.e., it’s skipping dozens of active classes that happened in the past between February and now.
From the mid-February page, if I click Previous, it takes me to classes that occurred subsequently – what I’d expect if I clicked Next!
Going back to the current list view page – I notice that although the Previous link is
http://www.solo-e.com/classes/list/?tribe_event_display=past&tribe_paged=1
the link it takes me to is
http://www.solo-e.com/classes/list/?tribe_paged=1&tribe_event_display=pastI know this was mentioned in other posts about a similar problem…
(I deactivated everything and switched themes but to 2013, I hope that’s ok. I have 34 plugins and hope to not have to go back and re-do that exercise!

ParticipantI’m sorry that you’re having these problems, @terrizsolo!
You’re right about there being other threads similar to this one; so far it’s been hard to pin down a common pattern or bug across all of these issues, so I’m curious about the configuration of some things on your site.
Your “System Information” looks good – but I’m curious, what are your Permalink settings if you go to “Settings > Permalinks” in your wp-admin?
If they are not set to something like /%postname%/, does setting them as such and then saving those changes make any difference with your issues?
Thank you!

ParticipantThank you, George!
Our permalink structure is /%category%/%postname%/. I changed it briefly to /%postname%/ and it had no effect 🙁
I forgot to add that I’ve been running TEC/Pro since early 2015 and the Next/Previous (we renamed them Earlier/Later in our /tribe-events/list/nav.php (child theme) file) were working. I can’t nail down when it stopped working but I suspect it’s been recent, maybe when I upgraded to 3.12 in late September?

ParticipantHey @terrizsolo,
Thank you for looking into these things. I noticed that you mention having some custom template files in your child theme – can you temporarily activate a default theme like Twenty Twelve or something (any default theme that you have NOT customized or made a child theme for in any way)? Once you’ve activated this, go to Settings > Permalinks in your admin area, and just click “Save Changes” without actually making any changes. This may seem like an odd thing to do but is a little “trick” within WordPress to get the permalinks across your site to refresh.
After these two steps have a look at the next/prev links issues – do the problems persist?
Thank you!

ParticipantHi George,
I switched to twenty twelve theme and save Permalink settings (without making changes), as you suggested.
No joy 🙁 Exact same behavior…

ParticipantI’m sorry about this @terrizsolo – based on your feedback here and the input of some other users we are fairly certain we have a bug on our hands 🙁
I’m really sorry about that! I don’t have many details regarding this bug at the moment but we are actively looking into it and could publish a maintenance release soon to address this and a few other smaller bugs.
Please let me know what you think or if I can do anything to help keep your site somewhat functional in the meantime while we await the bug fix.
Sincerely,
GeorgeNovember 1, 2015 at 6:05 am #1020582Support Droid
