Hi.. I deactivated the event calendar pro and event calendar through my control panel and all is fine now..so it does look like it is your plugins that are causing the issue…

to restate…I am not able to get access to “Updates” or “Plugins” from the WP Dashboard with your plugins activated.

    Hey John!

This sounds like a permissions issue namely, which in any case is the first place to start here to make sure that permissions are accurately configured.

If you are not familiar with re-setting server permissions on your own, then your best bet is to contact your hosting company support and ask them to reset permissions on your WordPress installation. The permissions should be something like 755 recursively, owned by the webserver.

Let us know if you get in with them, and if they can help here!

    Cheers,
    George

Hi, I am going to close this now. I was moving my site today to WPEngine anyway and all seems to work fine now…so I do not know what the issue was..will let you know if it re occurs

Thanks for the update @John! Weird…but glad things are resolved regardless โ€“ย for now.

Definitely open a new thread if other issues arise. Until then: best of luck with your site! ๐Ÿ™‚
