    Hi,

I have bought The Event Calendar PRO and other plugins from The Event Calendar, and it is not possible to create an event without an error message. There is a problem if the user uploads an image. The error message is “Does this file exist already?”

We know it is a plugin conflict with W3 Total Cache. We posted a message on their support forum, but it needs to be solved in The Event Calendar plugin.

We have spent a lot of money for your plugin and appreciate that it works fine.

Thank you for your plugin update.

    Regards
    Philipp

    Hi Philipp,

Thanks for reaching back out to us!  I’m sorry to hear that you are still having the issue related to W3 Total Cache and I can understand your frustration.  The problem seems to be that W3 Total Cache is minifying our plugins scripts and styles, though they are already minified.  You may find this article helpful: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/problems-with-minification/

In addition, some of our customers who have also experienced this issue have found this article to help them to find a solution: https://tangerinemoons.com/using-wordpress-w3-total-cache-modern-tribes-event-calendar/

Please let us know how it goes and if you need anything else along the way!

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. Thanks so much!
