    Hi there,

The last batch of updates have caused an issue with our live site, where it produces 500 errors.

I tested the update on the localhost before doing it on the live site and had no problem – this issue only happens on the live site and I cannot recreate it on the localhost (annoying).

The errors which appear many times in the log are:

[12-Jan-2017 00:11:56 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method Tribe__Events__Front_Page_View::is_featured_query() in /home5/skatespo/public_html/rollerstop-rink/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Main.php on line 816

[12-Jan-2017 00:13:29 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method Tribe__Settings_Manager::add() in /home5/skatespo/public_html/rollerstop-rink/wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/common/src/Tribe/Main.php on line 237

[12-Jan-2017 00:29:09 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method Tribe__Events__Front_Page_View::is_featured_query() in /home5/skatespo/public_html/rollerstop-rink/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Main.php on line 816

[12-Jan-2017 00:29:22 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method Tribe__Asset__Data::get_url() in /home5/skatespo/public_html/rollerstop-rink/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Admin/Bar/Default_Configurator.php on line 90

I’ve tested for conflicts on the live site with no luck, I still get errors.

I’m at a loss for how to fix this if it isn’t a plug in or theme conflict.

Is there a minimum version of php required for the plugins? Maybe my hosting’s php isn’t up to date enough?

For the moment I’m going to revert back to the older version and hope that I can get the site working better for the weekend (it’s our busiest time of the week).

    Best Wishes,
    Suzie

    Hi, Suzie.

Thanks for your detailed question and sorry you’re experiencing this recently-discovered bug.

I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now, but I know it’s high-priority and they’re working on it already.

I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

Downgrading is a valid way to go for now.

And regarding your version of PHP, please see https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
    The Events Calendar Support Team
